Aleksandra & The Belgian Sweets with the Strings
It was very moving for us to be presented by legendary Polish radio broadcaster, Marek Niedźwiecki, in his programme Markomania on Polish Radio Three. He said that his favourite song from the album is Melodia, which he described as „beautiful”. Melodia is based on Polish poem by Boleslaw Lesmian, music written by Belgian songwriter and producer Pedro De Bruyckere, arranged for the strings by Belgian film composer Joris Hermy.
Third album ‘Clover’ features the poems of the influential Polish poets: Boleslaw Lesmian, Julian Tuwim and Jan Twardowski.
It has been such a pleasure and honour for me to learn from, work and spend time with amazing musicians and mentors: Producer, songwriter and lead guitarist Pedro De Bruyckere, pianist, bassist and mixing master Augustijn Vermandere, film composer and arranger of the delicious strings harmonies on the album – Joris Hermy, awesome drummer and percussionist Niels Delvaux and vocal teacher Leon Berrange. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
We are very proud of this album and happy to have it available in the physical copy.
We post the albums with a little card with dedication. Some idea for the Christmas gift!
